Announcement · October 26, 2026 Twenty-five years protecting people under threat; now leading the digital security community for U.S. civil society.
WASHINGTON, D.C. The NGO Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NGO-ISAC) today named Yaël Eisenstat its Chief Executive Officer. She begins on November 4. Eisenstat has spent over 25 years protecting people under threat. She began her career in the national security world, serving as a Foreign Service Officer in Kenya, a senior intelligence officer at the National Counterterrorism Center, and a White House advisor on counterterrorism and national security. In 2018 she led elections integrity operations for political advertising at Facebook. Since leaving, she has worked with industry, government, and civil society to make technology safer for the public, most recently as Director of Policy and Impact at the Cybersafety Research Center at New York University. At NGO-ISAC she returns to her operational roots, helping to protect the organizations that protect others. This is what we do at NGO-ISAC; we strengthen civil society resilience to digital threats through threat sharing, peer community, briefings, and training for U.S. nonprofits and civil society organizations, many of which face serious digital threats with small security teams.
NGO-ISAC’s programs continue without interruption. Its annual conference will take place on November 17 in Washington, D.C. About NGO-ISACThe NGO Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NGO-ISAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps strengthen the digital security of U.S.-based nonprofits. Founded in 2017, it brings civil society organizations together to share threat information, learn from one another, and stay ahead of emerging threats.
