The Role
​
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Membership Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing our member relations, coordinating membership activities, and supporting the Sr. Director of Membership, Partnership & Community Operations and team with special projects and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team to drive NGO-ISAC's mission forward.
What You'll Do
Membership Management

Respond to member inquiries, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement

Process new member applications, including vetting, welcome communications, and access provisioning

Lead monthly group onboarding calls for new members

Manage invoicing for new members and coordinate renewal campaigns

Support membership recruitment and retention efforts, including database maintenance and outreach campaigns

Maintain accurate member records and prepare reports on membership trends and activities
Community Engagement​

Schedule and manage weekly briefings hosted by NGO-ISAC

Facilitate collaboration between member organizations to foster a vibrant cybersecurity-focused community

Coordinate development and dissemination of member communications, including monthly newsletters, bulletins, and updates via email and our online community

Support community knowledge management activities, including documentation for the Knowledge Base

Organize and support virtual and in-person events, including webinars, workshops, and our annual conference

Database & Operations Management

Work closely with the Membership team on transitioning to a new Association Management System (AMS), including database migration, quality assurance, and SOP development

Ensure accuracy and integrity of member records across all platforms

Support special projects including website redesign, research, and administrative tasks for senior leadership

Prepare reports and presentations to inform strategic decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or related field (or 4 years of relevant professional experience)

Minimum 2 years of experience in membership management, community management, or similar role, preferably within a nonprofit or association setting (graduate degree can substitute for experience)

Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences

Proficiency with association/membership management tools (CRM software, AMS platforms)

Proficiency with standard office productivity tools

Self-motivated team player with a proactive, positive attitude
-
Strongly preferred knowledge of cybersecurity landscape, including challenges facing NGOs
-
Experience supporting senior executives and managing confidential information is a plus
